One of the main Muslim holidays – Eid al-Adha, – is coming soon. It is the culmination of the Hajj (pilgrimage to Mecca).
It is celebrated 70 days after the holiday of Eid al-Fitr, on the 10th day of the month of Zul-Hijja, in memory of the sacrifice of Ibrahim, who is considered a prophet among Muslims. The exact date of the celebration according to the Gregorian calendar may vary in different countries.
On this day, it is customary to sacrifice a ram, so on the eve of the holiday, you can see people selling and buying them everywhere. A ram may cost up to 1500 DT, but the average price is around 500-800 DT.
